Revision & Scope Policy
Last Updated: July 27, 2026
This page explains exactly how revisions and changes work when you build with us. The goal is simple: you always know what is included, what counts as a revision, and what a change costs before any work begins. No surprises, no open-ended edits, and no guessing.
1. What Every Build Includes
Every website build includes 2 rounds of revisions. A round is one consolidated set of changes that you send after reviewing the site. We make the changes, send it back, and that completes the round.
Two rounds is enough to get the site dialed in and looking exactly how you want it. Most projects are finished well within it.
2. What Counts as One Revision
One revision means one change to one element, given as a single instruction. For example:
- Swapping out an image or photo
- Changing a headline or a block of text
- Updating a price, product detail, or link
- Adjusting the color, button, or spacing on one section
- Editing the copy on one existing page
A list of changes uses one revision each. For example, "swap these 5 images" counts as 5 revisions, not 1. This keeps things fair and measurable for both sides.
3. What Is Not a Revision
Some requests fall outside the original build. These are not revisions and are quoted separately as a change order before any work starts, so you always see the price up front:
- A brand new page or section that was not in the original scope
- A redesign or "make it look completely different" request after approval
- New features or functionality (checkout, booking, integrations, calculators)
- New copywriting or content creation beyond the agreed pages
- Anything outside what was quoted at the start of the project
4. How to Submit Revisions
Please gather all of your feedback for a round into one submission. Send it through our revision request form. Collecting everything in one message lets us make the changes efficiently and keeps your rounds from being used up on feedback that trickles in one item at a time.
If more feedback comes in after a round has been submitted, it rolls into the next round.
5. Turnaround
Revisions are typically delivered within a few business days of receiving your consolidated feedback, Monday to Friday. Larger rounds may take longer, and we will always tell you the timeline when we receive your request.
6. Changes After Launch
Your build includes 2 rounds of revisions plus a short support window after launch. Once that window ends, ongoing changes are handled in one of two ways:
- One-off change: $75 per change, quoted first if it is larger than a standard revision.
- Care & Revisions, Essentials: $250 per month for up to 4 revisions, delivered every 2 weeks.
- Care & Revisions, Priority: $500 per month for up to 8 revisions, delivered weekly, with priority turnaround.
Monthly plans are billed in advance and can be cancelled anytime. Unused revisions do not roll over to the next month.
7. Social & Video Content Revisions
Our Social Growth content package includes 1 revision per video. A revision means one consolidated set of notes on that video (timing, captions, clip choice, music). Full re-edits, new scripts, or additional videos beyond the monthly count are quoted separately.
8. Payment for Additional Work
Any work beyond the included revisions, whether a change order, a one-off change, or an additional round, is agreed and priced before it begins. You will never be charged for extra work without approving it first.
9. Questions
If anything here is unclear, reach out before your project starts and we will walk you through it.
